Every country in Europe has something to offer, something exciting, new, and spectacular. Romania is no different, with so many museums, parks and Castles, and beautiful streets through the old town, this is definitely a city you will need more than a few days in. But if you only have a few days, here are my top 5 things to do in Romania:

)Thermae Bath Spa Bucharest: This spa is a great way to relax in the sauna or to grab a drink with some friends in the pool, or if you want a bit more fun and adventure from the relaxation you can go to the water park section and ride the slides. This indoor-outdoor thermal spa is definitely the perfect attraction for the whole family to enjoy.

)Excalibur: This restaurant is amazing. Based after the story of the Excalibur sword, they have designed it to be a dining hall for Kings and Queens and they serve everything on a wooden platter and the ‘best’ part is they don’t provide forks, only knives and one spoon for serving purposes. So you really get to enjoy the feast and dig in!

)Bran Castle: This very mystical castle is what put vampires on the map so long ago. From the original vampire, Dracula from Bram Strokers book, to the more recent Dracula from the movie Hotel Transylvania and all the other vampire stories from then to now.  Even though this Castle is not located in Bucharest, it is located in the small town Bran in Transylvania about 2.5 hours outside of Bucharest. It is a must see if you visit Romania, along with many of the other Castles they have hidden within the towns of Transylvania.

)Grand Van Gogh Café: Yes, we are talking about the painter, but it is not a museum. It is the most picturesque cafe in all of Bucharest with all his most famous paintings throughout the cafe. And the best part, they have a great brunch menu.

)Cismigiu Park: Bucharest is one of the greenest cities I have ever seen. The have dedicated so much of there inner city land to public parks with gardens, ponds and rivers with cafes and playground around for all children and adults to enjoy.
